In a dramatic Uganda Cup quarter-final clash at Kavumba Recreation Ground, Kataka FC from Mbale (competing in the FUFA Big League) eliminated top-tier Police FC after a tense 120-minute goalless stalemate, triumphing 5-4 on penalties.  

Two people have been confirmed dead, and more than 11 others sustained injuries after a Pokopoko Company bus, registration number UBR 796N, veered off the road and overturned in Mubende Municipality. The accident occurred when the bus's tire burst after hitting a pothole, causing the driver to lose control.  

Kampala, Uganda – A new chapter in Ugandan school sports unfolded this morning as Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) President Eng. Moses Magogo and Speaker of Parliament Anita Among flagged off the national U-15 football teams set to represent the country at the CAF Schools Championship in Ghana.

The Confederation of African Football (CAF), through its Member Association FUFA, has handed over two brand-new Isuzu buses to Amus College School and Royal Giant High School in recognition of their outstanding performances in the inaugural CAF African Schools Championship, courtesy Motsepe Foundation.
