Nakifuma, Uganda – The Nakifuma Magistrate’s Court has remanded two men, Kityo Seruma Green Way Edward (45) of Kyengera, Wakiso District, and Kazibwe Yusuf (38) of Nakasajja, Kyampisi, Mukono District, on charges of forgery, attempted murder, and fraudulent land transactions.  

On April 4, 2025, at around 5:00 p.m., police received reports of a demonstration in Ngandu village, where locals were protesting the lack of electricity for three weeks. The protesters blocked the Ngandu-Kirangira road, burning old tires.
