Kasese, Uganda – The Kasese District security committee has launched a renewed crackdown on human trafficking networks following a highlevel stakeholders' meeting chaired by Resident District Commissioner (RDC) Lt. Joe Walusimbi.  

According to the recently amended UEDCL act 2022, one may face up to 2 billion shillings as fines or serve 15 years in jail

Nakawa magistrates court has remanded 17 suspects to Luzira prisons .These have been charged with terrorism after they have been arrested in the security electricity vandalism operations  across the country.

The suspect had appeared before grade one magistrate Andrew Katurubuki  who has read the charges however they  have not been allowed to answer the charges but have been referred  to high court this being a criminal offence.

Jinja, Uganda – Police in Jinja are investigating the tragic discovery of a woman's body retrieved from the Nile River near Kyabazinga Road. The deceased has been transferred to Jinja Referral Hospital for postmortem examination as authorities work to establish the circumstances surrounding her death.
