The scandal involves a contested piece of land in Ngaaju Village, where Kyobe allegedly sold the same property to multiple unsuspecting buyers before mysteriously disappearing.
Tensions reached a boiling point in Kabale District, Hoima, as a long-simmering land conflict turned violent during a mediation meeting organized by Lands Minister Dr. Sam Mayanja. The confrontation pitted Kikuube Resident District Commissioner Amlan Tumusiime against area Member of Parliament Pius Wakabi in a dramatic showdown witnessed by local residents.
BUTALEJA, UGANDA – The Assistant Resident District Commissioner (RDC) for Butaleja, Godfrey Nasuga Musulemi, has vowed to arrest self-proclaimed NRM coordinator Richard Weere Mudehere and his team for allegedly defrauding locals under the guise of connecting them to the First Family.

MBALE, UGANDA – Police in Mbale City have arrested a 37-year-old man, identified only as Derrick, a resident of Namatala ward in Industrial City Division, over allegations of recruiting more than 20 underage children for illegal activities.
According to Jimmy Nambiro, the Assistant Resident City Commissioner (ARCC) for Industrial City Division, parents raised the alarm after Derrick allegedly lured their children with promises of lucrative construction jobs in Soroti City.
