Members of Parliament have strongly condemned the violence and intimidation reported during the campaign for the Kawempe North by-election. During a parliamentary session today, legislators expressed outrage over the actions of security personnel and other individuals who have been accused of harassing voters and disrupting the electoral process.  

In a bid to strengthen the National Resistance Movement (NRM) and address pressing community issues, party leaders in Mukono District have launched an initiative to resolve land disputes and foster unity among members. The move comes amid growing concerns over land grabbing and internal conflicts that have threatened the party's cohesion in the region.  

President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has called on Ugandans to lead purposeful lives, emphasizing the importance of serving others and contributing to the nation’s development. The President made these remarks during a memorial service held in honor of the late Eriya Kategaya, a former Deputy Prime Minister and influential figure in Uganda’s political and legal landscape, who passed away on March 2, 2013.

President Yoweri Museveni has officially commissioned the newly constructed Kampala Flyover, marking a significant milestone in the city's infrastructure development. The project, aimed at easing traffic congestion in the capital, has been handed over to the Ministry of Works and Transport and the Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) for management and maintenance.
