In an effort to improve the quality of education in Mukono Municipality, the municipal council has launched an initiative to inspect and assess various schools, particularly those with dilapidated infrastructure.

Prince David Kintu Wasajja has called for unity and collective efforts among Ugandans to drive development, particularly in the education sector. His remarks came during a fundraising event for the construction of Kalonga Seed Secondary School in Kalonga Sub-county, Mubende District.
Nakiwate, Nakifuma
The village of Nakiwate in Nakifuma Mukono District is grappling with a high dropout rate among schoolgirls, largely due to the inability to afford sanitary pads. This challenge has been exacerbated by the economic hardships faced by parents, forcing many girls to miss school or drop out entirely when they reach puberty.
Keikolongo Seed School is located in Keikolongo village, Malongo sub-county, in Lwengo District, and it is a government school. However, when you visit, especially during the dry season when the sun is too harsh, it becomes very challenging for both parents and teachers.
LWENGO
