Parents are threatening mass protests if no action is taken by the opening of Term III.  

Mityana, Uganda – A storm of frustration is brewing in Mityana Municipality as government primary schools grapple with severe infrastructure decay, forcing parents to withdraw children and teachers to conduct lessons in dilapidated structures.

The Uganda National Examinations Board (UNEB) has held discussions with education stakeholders across the country to address challenges in the implementation of the new Competence-Based Curriculum. This follows concerns over exam malpractice and the need for better teacher preparedness.  

Wakiso DEO cautioned over schools organising prom parties, and institutions

Frederick Kiyinji Kinobe, the education leader in Wakiso District, has warned parents against neglecting their children’s education under the “New Curriculum”, stating that it requires significant effort.

Okot confirmed that King Ceasor University had met all the required standards for accreditation.

President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has granted King Ceasor University its charter, officially recognising it as a fully accredited institution. During the handover ceremony, he urged the university to prioritise science-based programs.
