Following the increasing accidents among workers, especially those in the Jinja Highway infant formula factory in Mbalala, President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni visited the companies to meet employers and employees to assess how to improve their safety. The deaths of workers have raised concerns about their safety, prompting intervention from area leaders, including State Minister for Water Ronald Kibuule.

The Uganda National Bureau of Standards (UNBS) and the Eastern Africa Grain Council (EAGC) have partnered to launch a specialized training program for Micro, Small, and Medium-sized Enterprises (MSMEs) in grain handling, testing, and grading.

The initiative aims to improve grain quality management and food safety, enhancing the competitiveness of Ugandan grain products in regional and international markets.

President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni conducted a field evaluation of the Parish Development Model's implementation during his working visit to Buvuma District, where he engaged directly with beneficiary farmers. At Buyego Village, the President inspected the agricultural operations of Wako Muwereza, a PDM recipient whose enterprise has shown measurable growth since receiving program funds in 2023 through the Tome Poultry Group.  

Uganda is intending to increase its fish export to 1.7 metric tons come to 2030.According to the ministries projection  1 million is this is to be aqua while 700,000 will be captured fish.Curently Uganda exports 130,000 metric tones annually  under this 65800 is captured making the industry to be the second largest foreign exchange earner.

This was disclosed by the assistant commissioner Andrew Alio while addressing the press at the media center in Kampala.He has accompanied the minister of state for fisheries Hellen Ondoa.

The Office of the Presidential Representative in Wakiso District has spearheaded a major empowerment program, distributing over 1,500 chickens and 50 goats to residents as part of government efforts to boost household incomes. Resident District Commissioner (RDC) Justin Mbabazi personally oversaw the distribution at the District Headquarters, emphasising President Museveni's vision for wealth creation at the grassroots level.
