The Territorial Police in Entebbe Division are conducting thorough investigations into a tragic incident of double murder and suspected aggravated robbery that occurred at the residence of Mutaaga David (69 years) and his wife Mutaaga Deborah Florence (62 years) in Lugonjo Nakiwogo Cell, Entebbe Municipality, Wakiso District.
On 6th July 2025, police received a report from a domestic worker attached to the household about a suspected attack. Our officers responded immediately to the scene, where they discovered the lifeless bodies of the couple.
Both victims sustained fatal stab wounds. Crime scene documentation and evidence collection have been completed. The bodies have been transferred to City Mortuary Mulago for postmortem examination. Several exhibits of evidential value have been recovered for forensic analysis.
Police Action: Our specialised investigative teams have been deployed to investigate this horrific crime. Their mission is to: Identify motive, apprehend suspect(s), and analyse evidence.
ASP Luke Owoyesigyire, Deputy Public Relations Officer for Kampala Metropolitan Police, issued a statement condemning the brutal act and expressing the force of their commitment to justice for the victims and their families. They emphasised that their investigative teams are working tirelessly to resolve the case.
