Residents along Salama Road, stretching from Kibuye to Munyonyo, are raising alarm over excessive dust pollution, which has caused respiratory illnesses and financial losses. Despite promises from the government and Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA), the road remains unfinished 18 months after its construction began in 2O23.
