  JINJA   – Traders operating along the Nile shores in Jinja have expressed outrage after receiving eviction notices from Jinja City Council to make way for a government-backed pier construction project aimed at boosting water transport infrastructure.  

Minister Kabanda urges Ugandans to support local workers, emphasising the importance of allowing them to perform their duties effectively.

KAMPALA – The Minister of Kampala Capital City and Metropolitan Affairs, Hon. Minsa Kabanda, has called on Ugandans to prioritise local workers who have been given employment opportunities instead of mistreating them. She emphasised that these workers should be allowed to perform their duties effectively to gain valuable skills and experience.
