Thousands of supporters packed Rubindi Stadium for a high-profile rally featuring Hon. Bazil Bataringaya, Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba, and President Yoweri Museveni amid tight security.  

Police and military personnel were heavily deployed, conducting strict checks and monitoring the crowd. The leaders delivered speeches praising government achievements and calling for unity.  

No incidents were reported, but the heavy security presence drew mixed reactions. Supporters hailed the event as a success, while critics questioned the need for such measures.  

The rally showcased strong backing for the leaders, reinforcing their political influence in kashari North.

The organising committee of the upcoming UPDF military drills has announced that all preparations are complete, with the event set to proceed as planned. Speaking during a press conference held today at Hotel Africana, officials, headed by Bob Kakuru, confirmed that Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba, the Chief of Defence Forces, will attend the exercises in person.  
In the upcoming 2026 elections, as Ugandan prepare to elect their leaders under the Electoral Commission's guidelines, every political party at this moment is working hard to ensure smooth preparations leading up to 2026 without any hindrances to participation in the general elections.
