Thirty (30) Tanzanian nationals have been arrested for engaging in illegal fishing activities on Lake Victoria, specifically in the Kasensero area. Â
The operation was conducted by the fisheries enforcement unit operating in Mpigi and Kalungu, under the leadership of Captain Jacob Obbo. The operation was carried out last night on the orders of Lt. Col. Mercy Tukahiirwa. Â
