BUTAMBALA, UGANDA – The Territorial Police in Butambala District have arrested three individuals in connection with a violent confrontation following a political rally, which resulted in multiple cases of assault, abduction, and malicious damage.
A 94-year-old woman in Luwero District has been restored to her land after a dramatic intervention by the State Minister for Lands, Dr. Sam Mayanja. The Minister ordered the immediate eviction of a wealthy land buyer and his associates who had allegedly taken over the elderly woman's property, leaving her destitute.
