Residents of Kikona-Kyabataagi Village in West Division, Mubende Municipality, were left in shock after the decomposed body of a man was discovered in his home. The man, identified as Onyango David, 47, is believed to have died four days prior, with the body only being found this morning due to the foul smell emanating from his house.  

The Uganda Communications Commission (UCC), the regulatory body overseeing broadcasting in Uganda, has condemned the actions of some security personnel who have been intimidating journalists. The commission has also issued strict guidelines for media houses to follow, especially during this political season.

The State Minister for Lands, Dr. Sam Mayanja, has issued a stern warning to land grabbers who have encroached on government land, hindering development projects. The minister made these remarks while inspecting Gunda Forest Land in Katabi, Wakiso District, where he is overseeing the implementation of President Museveni’s directive to allocate the land for the construction of a National Technological Demonstration Center.

Brigadier General Christopher Damulira, the head of the Crime Intelligence Directorate, has urged young people to collaborate with the police to contribute to the development of the country. He made these remarks during a security meeting held at Gwanda Market in Kisenyi, which brought together various stakeholders, including market vendors, taxi operators, boda-boda riders, and ghetto youth from different areas.
