President Museveni, campaigning for the NRM, concluded the first week of presidential elections in the Lango sub-region.
The first week of campaigns for the presidential elections has concluded, with President Yoweri Museveni, the flagbearer of the National Resistance Movement (NRM), actively rallying for votes in the Lango sub-region, the area where his campaign trail began.
Campaign Itinerary ( Week One):
Yesterday, the President held campaign rallies in Apac and Kwania districts. His campaign trail for the week also covered Amolatar, Dokolo, Otuke, and Alebtong districts.
Upcoming Schedule (Next Week):
The campaign activities are set to resume next week, starting on October 6th. The President is scheduled to campaign in Kole District, Lira District, and Lira City.
Campaign Outlook:
According to Robert Rwakandare, a mobilizer in the state house, the first week was highly successful and energetic. He expressed full confidence that this momentum will be sustained not only in the Lango sub-region but in all other regions, leading to a victory for President Museveni when the polls are held on January 12th of the coming year.
