Ambassadors of Christ celebrated 37 years of impactful music ministry at the Serena Hotel.
The prestigious event was graced by high-level representation from the First Family of Uganda, underscoring the significance of the ministry's work. Mr. and Mrs. Nuwagira Michael Toyota Kaguta were in attendance . Mr. Toyota Kaguta, who also serves as the National Vice Chairman of the Patriotic League of Uganda, an organization headed by the CDF, Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba, represented the first family at the milestone celebration.
The evening was a testament to pan-African gospel unity, featuring a special performance by the renowned Ambassadors of Christ Choir based in Rwanda. The choir joined one of their founding elders, the legendary Julius Mwalimu Ssozi, to honor his three and a half decades of dedicated ministry through song. Mwalimu Ssozi's influence has extended far beyond Ugandan borders, earning him a respected place in the broader African gospel music scene.

The government of Uganda also showed its strong support for the arts and faith-based initiatives. The Prime Minister, the Rt. Hon. Robina Nabbanja represented His Excellency President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni. In her remarks, she highly appreciated the lifelong ministry of Mwalimu Ssozi and the Ambassadors of Christ.

She credited the government for establishing a lasting peace and national stability that has created an environment where artists and ministries can thrive and perform freely "all over Africa." Demonstrating tangible support, the Prime Minister announced a contribution of 10 million Ugandan Shillings to the ministry.
The event drew a who's who of Ugandan and regional dignitaries, including:
Pastor Aloysious Bujjingo and his wife from House of Prayer Ministries International.

His Excellency Joseph Rutabana, the Ambassador of Rwanda to Uganda, and his wife.
Dr. Diana Atwine, the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Health.
The Serena Hotel was filled, with the atmosphere described as electric. Attendees were treated to an unforgettable night of worship, music, and thanksgiving, marking 37 years of faith, dedication, and cultural impact through the power of song.
