Speaker Among Nominated For Bukedea District Woman MP Seat

The Speaker of Parliament, Rt. Hon. Anita Annet Among, has officially been nominated to run for the Bukedea District Woman Member of Parliament seat in the upcoming elections.

The nomination took place today at the NRM Electoral Commission offices led by the chairperson Dr Tanga Odoi amid excitement from her supporters who thronged the venue in large numbers, chanting slogans and carrying placards in support of her bid. Among, who is contesting on the ruling National Resistance Movement (NRM) ticket, was accompanied by party officials, local leaders among others.

Speaking shortly after her nomination, Speaker Among expressed gratitude to the people of Bukedea for their continued trust in her leadership. She pledged to continue championing development and unity in the district and beyond.
