The People’s Front for Freedom (PFF), a political group preparing for the 2026 general elections, has announced its nomination fees for candidates seeking to contest under its banner.
The announcement was made by the party’s Acting Electoral Commission Manager, Hon. Michael Kabaziguruka. According to him, aspiring presidential candidates will be required to pay UGX 2.5 million.
Those seeking to contest as Members of Parliament or Kampala Lord Mayor will each pay UGX 500,000, while mayors from towns outside Kampala will pay UGX 250,000.
For local government positions, candidates will pay UGX 10,000 for LC3 Councillor Positions and UGX 25,000 for LC5 Councillor Roles. Hon. Kabaziguruka also revealed that expression of interest forms will be available at the party’s coordination office on Katonga Road.
The release of fees and forms marks the beginning of the PFF’s internal process of identifying candidates. The party says the move is aimed at encouraging early preparation and promoting participation across all leadership levels, especially at the grassroots.
