KAMPALA – The National Unity Platform (NUP) will today concentrate its #ProtestVote2026 mobilisation efforts in two key constituencies within the capital. The party's published schedule confirms campaign activities will be held specifically in Kawempe South and Kawempe North.
The campaign, championed by the party's President, H.E. Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu (Bobi Wine), is part of a broader push to rally citizens ahead of the 2026 general elections. Under the banner "A NEW UGANDA NOW!", the party is urging supporters to use the ballot as a tool for protest and change.
Today's focused outreach in the Kawempe divisions signals a targeted approach to galvanise support in these crucial opposition strongholds. The National Unity Platform maintains its headquarters at Plot 831/1023, Makerere-Kavule, along Bombo Road.
