Speaking during a community engagement meeting in Kibuku, Hon. Namiyango expressed concern over the district being ranked among the poorest in Uganda, attributing the situation to laziness and a lack of initiative among many residents.

In her closing remarks, the minister issued a strong warning to parents engaging in child marriage for financial gain.
