RAJIV RUPARERIA Dies in Crash

A speeding car crashed early this morning on the Munyonyo-Busabala-Entebbe Flyover, killing the son of wealthy businessman Dr .Sudhir Ruparelia identified as Rajiv RUPARERIA.
According to a police statement, the accident occurred when the vehicle, a Lamborghini, lost control, hit road barriers, and caught fire. Â
Pieces of the wrecked car and ash were found at the crash site on the Munyonyo-Entebbe Flyover.
Our team arrived at the scene and found security personnel led by Kampala Police Spokesperson Richard Echega and residents gathered where the accident happened. Â
Reports indicate that the driver (Rajiv) was speeding, failed to notice the road barriers, and lost control before the car burst into flames. Â
At the scene, only ash remained of the burnt vehicle, and police cameras monitoring the area also caught fire.
Witnesses and passersby said many people could have died if the fire had spread, but fortunately, no flying debris injured anyone.Â
Traffic police and racing enthusiasts expressed shock, dismissing rumors that many people had been trapped in the fire.Â
Police Traffic Spokesperson Michael Kananura ,confirmed that they received the accident report around 2:am last night and arrived to find Rajiv RUPARERIA already dead.
Police say they are still investigating the exact cause of the crash and will provide updates.
