Crime Rate skyrockets In Wakiso as Newly trained LDU Replace UPDF Soldiers

Sumbwe residents in Wakiso district cry out as robbers take advantage of UPDF’s exit, and replaced with the LDUs in return.

Kayemba Atuuka in Bulenga emptied Lukyamuzi Herbert’s shop a resident of Bukomansimbi.

The police loaded on track the stolen properties recovered alongside the thief, though he first denied committing the crime.

In another incident, Julius Ssozi a resident of Bulaga who was at Wakiso court to follow up a court case he filed in order to get justice, narrated how men with machete ‘kijambiya’ invaded his premises and cut him.

The relatives expressed amazement as all these crimes happened to a home close to the police station.

Various residents complained of similar attacks and blamed it on the big number of the youths too lazy to work.

Solomon Baliruno one of the area leaders blamed the augmented crimes on the residents not reporting the criminals, hence failing the authorities.
