2 Shot Dead at Entebbe Express Highway

Two people have been shot dead along the Kampala-Entebbe Express highway. 

Florence Kamikazi, a Rwandan national and her bodyguard Joshua Ruhegyera Ntereho were shot dead at around 11:00 pm yesterday near Nambigirwa bridge, towards Mpala, Katabi Town Council. 

 Kampala Metropolitan Police spokesman, Patrick Onyango, says that investigations into the crime have commenced. He says that detectives and scene of crime officers from Katwe, Kajjansi, Bwebajja, Entebbe and their overt, covert officers are all combing surrounding areas with hope of picking Kimikazi killers.

The deceased were travelling in a black Prado registration number UAW 534B heading to Entebbe. According to an eyewitness in Mpala Isma Kimera, the deceased were waylaid by two unidentified men. He says that when the driver stopped, they were showered with bullets. 

An AK-47 rifle believed to have been used to kill the two was found at the scene.
