Kassanda District Residents Horrified As Terror Escalates

Residents, in the newly commissioned Kassanda district, have jointly raised their concern before the area legislator due to the increased unrest in the area that has led to surge in the crime.

This was in the meeting with Hon. Semeo Nsubuga, the area member of parliament citing the failure of the police to respond to crime, as the main factor.

They mentioned Kyakabale Splendor, a suspected notorious killer suspected to have killed a one-year-old baby and the elderly woman identified as Irene Naggita, but he moves freely in the area.

They went to the police and reported the cases but there is no response from the police yet, an act putting them in fear.

Kyakabale’s son led the residents to the anthill where Kyakabale buried the infant’s body.

Nannyanzi Diana, the area council echoed that the unrest in the area has caused the rise in crime.

Hon Semeo Nsubuga took the liberty to call the Wamala Regional Police Commander immediately to look in the matter and appealed to the residents to stay calm.
