Heavy rainfall this morning led to multiple accidents along the Jinja-Mukono Highway, causing significant traffic disruptions. Two separate collisions near the Namanve Coca-Cola factory involved a Canter truck and a trailer, further complicating the already challenging road conditions. Â

The first accident involved a Canter truck, registration number UA 895AM which was transporting goods. The vehicle reportedly lost control due to the slippery road, leading to a collision. Shortly after, a trailer carrying a container was also involved in a separate accident near the same location. Â

Emergency responders, including traffic police and medical teams, rushed to the scene to assist the affected drivers and clear the wreckage. While the extent of injuries remains unclear, witnesses reported that the heavy rain played a major role in the accidents. Â
