The NRM, under the Office of the National Chairman in Kyambogo, has launched preparations to mobilise Ugandans to attend the ceremony.
According to Hadjjah Namyalo, who heads the Office of the National Chairman, a meeting of the NRM leadership has resolved that all party supporters from across Uganda's districts should be mobilised. She stated that any Ugandan who wishes to attend is welcome, and urged NRM loyalists to mobilise the masses without fail for this prestigious occasion.
Namyalo further clarified that the mobilisation is not the responsibility of her office alone. Other NRM offices, including that of Kyadondo, and indeed every individual who wishes to see the President sworn in with dignity, should rally the people so that they can witness the ceremony on the 12th day of the coming month of may 2026.

According to the Office of the National Chairman, the President's roots are deeply embedded in Uganda – "the umbilical cord of the grandfather does not come from the mainland." Therefore, the grandchildren of President Museveni across the nation should come out to attend the swearing-in, so that they can demand accountability for what he has not delivered for them during the current term ending on the 12th of the coming month.
However, Namyalo expressed concern about some government agencies that are conducting brutal operations, such as arbitrarily chasing people off roads and in towns. She described these actions as ill-intentioned, aimed at undermining the government of President Museveni as it prepares to assume a new mandate.
In her remarks, Namyalo advised that all preparations for the swearing-in should be carried out peacefully within the towns.
