Kyambogo, Uganda – The head of the Office of the National Chairman of the NRM at Kyambogo, Hadijja Namyalo, has purchased birthday run kits worth 10 million Uganda shillings in support of General Muhoozi Kainerugaba’s upcoming birthday run scheduled for the 26th of this month.
Namyalo handed over the money for the kits to the Secretary of the Patriotic League of Uganda (PLU), Rt. Hon. David Kabanda, who also serves as the Member of Parliament for Kasambya County.
Upon her arrival, Namyalo was received by the PLU head of mobilization Micheal Mawanda and other senior officials within the party .
She was led directly into the office, after which the team addressed the media.
Addressing journalists, Namyalo explained that the Office of the National Chairman is fully committed to supporting the run, noting that the event's core objective—supporting children in need—is a very worthy cause.
She also called on the general public to join the initiative.
Namyalo further stated that the Office of the National Chairman has no differences whatsoever with the PLU.
Adding excitement to the birthday preparations, she revealed what she called a "secret": that they intend to crown "Muhoozi Chopa" during the event.
In response, PLU Secretary David Kabanda thanked Namyalo’s office for stepping up and participating in the arrangement.
He also clarified that despite rumors suggesting tension between the PLU and Namyalo’s office, the two are "one clan" and share a common goal of keeping the NRM in power.
