During a Buganda for Museveni rally at Kalule Garage in Kyazanga, Lwengo District, Parliament Speaker Anita Annet Among made a passionate appeal for President Museveni's re-election. The event, organised by Bukoto West MP Muhammad Muyanja Sentaayi, showcased strong NRM support in central Uganda.

Among called on Lwengo voters to demonstrate their loyalty by overwhelmingly backing Museveni in the upcoming polls. She specifically endorsed local NRM leaders, including MPs Cissy Namujju Dionizia and Muyanja Sentaayi, urging unity behind government development programs. The Speaker promised increased funding for local SACCOS if residents maintain their support. Â
Energy Minister Ruth Nankabirwa pledged electricity expansion to four sub-counties in Bukoto West constituency, highlighting NRM's development record. The rally saw a massive turnout, with attendees celebrating infrastructure projects, including schools, hospitals, and roads delivered under Museveni's leadership. Â
Among knelt and asked them to vote for Museveni, and also asked the residents of Lwengo to take part in the government initiatives, especially developmental organisations, and thereby also promised to financially fund these organisations.
Additionally, members of parliament Muhammad Muyanja Ssentaayi and Cissy Namujju Dionizia asked the people to vote for President Museveni in Lwengo district and asked them to give him more term as they praised his pleasing works, including schools, hospitals, roads, among others.
On the other hand, the minister of energy and mineral development in  Uganda, Ruth Nankabirwa, promised the residents of Lwengo district, especially those from the four counties that make up the constituency of Bukoto West, that they are being considered to receive electric power.
Members of parliament and ministers from various parts of Buganda were also present at this occasion.
