President Museveni to start PDM tour in Rubaga division

All roads will be leading to Rubaga Division this afternoon as President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni begins his tour of Kampala. The President will be visiting three places during his trip. He is scheduled to visit Busega Market in Rubaga North, specifically in the Kibumbiro Zone.

Speaking to Salt Media in an exclusive interview, the Deputy RCC Rubaga Division, Henry Kisambira, stated that the Head of State will also visit a privately owned garage in Rubaga to assess how work progresses among mechanics in the private sector. Here, the President will be briefed on the challenges affecting garage operators, including rent.

Kisambira further asserted that the garage was selected because the Head of State needs to understand how garage operators handle challenges, especially with recent technological advancements where garages are now operating on computers.

The Head of State will also monitor the Parish Development Model program, where 3.9 billion shillings have been dispatched to over 3,000 households.

Meanwhile, Kisambira has further confirmed that the Head of State will be using Kibumbiro Road to avoid traffic congestion along Rubaga Road.
