The President began his tour in Buliisa District, where he visited the home of Titus Tumusiime, a livestock farmer who received 997,000 shillings under the PDM program.

During his visit, President Museveni emphasized the importance of hard work and dedication in achieving economic transformation. He urged farmers to utilize the resources provided by the government effectively to improve their livelihoods and contribute to the country’s development.

The President’s tour continued to Kikuube District, where he met with residents of Kimbugwe Village in Kabwoya Sub-county. Local leaders expressed their gratitude for the PDM program, which has provided much-needed support to farmers and small-scale entrepreneurs in the region.

Residents welcomed the President’s visit, expressing optimism that the PDM program would help lift them out of poverty. They praised the government’s efforts to promote agricultural development and improve access to financial resources.

President Museveni’s four-day tour of the Bunyoro sub-region underscores the government’s commitment to addressing poverty and fostering economic growth in rural areas. The PDM program is a key component of this strategy, aiming to empower communities and enhance their participation in the country’s development agenda.
