President Museveni Lauds Daughter Diana’s Tourism Film "Hidden Uganda" at Star-Studded Premiere

Speke Resort, Munyonyo – President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni and First Lady Maama Janet Kataha Museveni graced the grand premiere of "Hidden Uganda," a cinematic showcase of Uganda’s untapped tourism gems, produced by their daughter Diana Museveni.

The event, held Friday night, drew top government officials, celebrities, and diplomats.  

 Film Highlights: A Foreigner’s Eye-Opening Journey  
The documentary follows American travel expert Peter Greenberg as he explores Uganda’s hidden wonders, from remote wilderness to cultural encounters, including:  
- Learning to cook chapati with locals  
- Marveling at landscapes he "never knew existed"  
- Debunking stereotypes (e.g., surprised by Uganda’s fresh, organic produce vs. Western processed foods)  

 President Museveni’s Key Remarks  
- "Tourism is gold!": Pledged more infrastructure (roads, airstrips) to boost access to remote attractions.
