President Cautions Mpigi Residents Against Theft
As President Museveni concludes his visit to Greater Mpigi during his final rally at Kintuntu Playground, he has ordered police in the district to stop granting police bonds to individuals charged with theft.Â
Amelia Kyambadde, the Presidential Advisor on Industrial Affairs, urged the president to upgrade the Mpigi Health Centre to the level of a hospital, a request that President Museveni accepted. She also welcomed 188 youth from other political parties into the National Resistance Movement (NRM).Â
Jennifer Nakangubi, also known as Full Figure and a presidential advisor, thanked the president for the developments in the country and encouraged the people of Mpigi to vote for him in the upcoming elections.Â
The Minister for Microfinance, Kyeyune Haruna Kasolo, ordered police to arrest moneylenders who require National Identity Cards from individuals seeking loans. Additionally, workers in the forests across Greater Mpigi reported acts of corruption to the president that have hindered progress throughout the entire district.Â
The Chairman of the National Resistance Movement in Mpigi District requested increased security for fishermen who are attacked after completing their work and are robbed of their earnings.Â
The youth in Greater Mpigi expressed their love and support for the president.
