NRM May Not Fully Deliver on 2021–2026 Manifesto, Says Dombo

NRM Manifesto is a work in progress. I don’t think by the end of this term of office we shall have completed all we had pledged to do

The Director of Communications at the National Resistance Movement (NRM) Secretariat, Emmanuel Dombo, has admitted that the ruling party may not fully implement its 2021–2026 manifesto before the end of its current term.

Dombo says that although the NRM government continues to work towards fulfilling its promises, time and financial constraints could hinder the complete realization of its commitments.

“The implementation of the current NRM Manifesto is a work in progress. I don’t think by the end of this term of office we shall have completed all we had pledged to do. However, we shall endeavor to do the most in several areas,” Dombo stated.

His remarks come amid increasing public scrutiny over the government's performance on key pledges, including improved service delivery, job creation, industrialisation, and better access to quality education and healthcare.

Dombo defended the party’s record, emphasizing that while some goals may remain unmet, notable progress has been made across various sectors.
