Musa Mbaziira Vies for Lubaga South Parliamentary Seat on NRM Ticket

Political ambitions are heating up in Lubaga South as longtime community leader MUSAH Mbaziira officially picks nomination forms to contest for the parliamentary seat on the ruling NRM party ticket. Mbaziira, a seasoned administrator, vows to bring transformative leadership to the constituency. Lawrence Kyambadde from Salt TV brings us the details.  
 
 
MUSAH Mbaziira, a prominent figure in Lubaga South, has thrown his hat into the ring for the area’s parliamentary seat. With 15 years of service as the Kabowa Parish Councillor and a decade as the Lubaga Division Speaker, Mbaziira says his leadership experience makes him the ideal candidate to represent the people.  
 
Today, he officially collected his nomination papers from the NRM Electoral Commission offices at Plot 13 in Kampala, flanked by enthusiastic supporters, including Kansala Patrick Male Wamu and others. His backers are confident that this time, Lubaga South will elect an NRM flag bearer who truly serves their interests.  
 
Mbaziira is no stranger to community development. He has championed initiatives like supporting women’s empowerment programs, securing UGX 100 million from First Lady Janet Kataha Museveni to uplift vulnerable women. His close ties with the First Lady have further bolstered his credibility among voters.  
 
After receiving his nomination papers, Mbaziira declared that Lubaga South has endured years of passive representation and vowed to usher in a new era of progress.  
 
Mbaziira will officially submit his nomination papers on the 17th of this month. His supporters believe his candidacy marks the beginning of a new chapter for Lubaga South.
