China Steps Up for Karamoja: 1,610 Tonnes of Relief Food Arrives as Hunger Crisis Deepens

KAMPALA/NAKAPIRIPIRIT, UGANDA – In a major humanitarian intervention, the Chinese government has delivered 1,610 metric tonnes of emergency food supplies to droughtstricken Karamoja through the Office of the Prime Minister, as Uganda intensifies efforts to combat the region's worsening hunger crisis.
