Vision Fund Uganda Embarks On Improving The Health Conditions Of Refugees

Vision Fund Uganda, in partnership with Turako, has introduced a micro health insurance program aimed at improving health conditions in refugee camps across Uganda.

Sande Ainomugisha, the Chief Executive Officer of Vision Fund Uganda, stated that the micro health insurance will help children in refugee camps receive proper medical care.

Mr. Obel Benerd, a supervisor at the Insurance Regulatory Authority, praised the efforts of the two organisations in assisting refugees in accessing proper medical care, especially at a time when funding from Western sources has been cut off.
