Kiwanga Kawoto, Mukono District  – As the nation prepares to celebrate the birthday of  Kabaka Ronald Muwenda Mutebi II  , residents of  Kiwanga Kawoto  in Mukono District have launched a massive cleanup campaign to promote sanitation and national pride. Â
The community, joined by  local students, leaders, and police  , cleared drainage channels, swept roads, and collected garbage in a spirited effort to improve public health and beautify the area. Â
   District Leaders Rally Community for "Bulungi Bwansi"  Â
 Robert Ssozi  , a representative from  Mukono District Council  , emphasized the importance of cleanliness ahead of Sunday’s celebrations: Â
 "We want this Sunday to be a true reflection of hygiene and discipline. A clean environment is a gift to our Kabaka and ourselves."  Â
Local health and sanitation officials pledged to sustain the efforts, ensuring that the cleanliness drive extends beyond the Kabaka’s birthday. Â
   Police Urge Public Health Vigilance  Â
 ASP Ayo Frank  , OC of  Kiwanga Police Station  , warned that poor sanitation breeds disease and called for cooperation with local authorities: Â
 "Cleanliness prevents outbreaks. We urge residents to work with health and security agencies to maintain a safe environment."  Â
   Community Leaders Appeal for Sustained Efforts  Â
Village chairpersons praised the initiative but called for  government support  to maintain progress. Â
 "We need bins, garbage trucks, and public awareness to sustain this momentum,"  one leader said. Â
