Residents of Kigombya South in Mukono Central have discovered their colleague dead at his workplace. The deceased, known as Olwenyi Peter, was 40 years old and worked as a milk vendor. He was seen by one of his workers, Nabirye Magret, who opened the dairy and found him lying on the floor. She raised an alarm, which alerted the neighbours.
The deceased had left home at midnight to collect the milk he sells in his dairy. His relatives were seen in a state of distress. Babirye Samali, an employee of the deceased, stated that their boss did not have any problems with people.
Police from Mukono, in collaboration with Wanton Police Station, arrived and took the body of the deceased to Mulago Mortuary as investigations continue. Ronald Wamala, the councillor of Kigombya South village, claimed that the late Olwenyi Peter was killed by unknown individuals. He urged the police to patrol the area, especially during the midnight hours.
