Vice President Jessica Alupo Arrives in Moscow for Four-Day Official Visit

The Vice President of Uganda, H.E. Jessica Alupo, arrived in Moscow, Russia earlier to begin a four-day official visit aimed at strengthening bilateral relations between Uganda and the Russian Federation.

Upon her arrival at one of Moscow’s international airports, Vice President Alupo and her delegation received a warm welcome from senior Russian officials. She was officially received by Hon. Andrey Ivanovich Denisov, the First Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council Committee, along with Uganda’s Ambassador to Russia and other high-ranking Russian and Ugandan diplomats.

During her stay, Vice President Alupo is expected to hold a series of high-level meetings with Russian government officials, business leaders, and development partners. The discussions will focus on areas of mutual interest, including trade, investment, education, defense cooperation, and technology transfer.

This visit marks a significant step in deepening Uganda’s diplomatic and economic ties with Russia, as both countries seek to enhance cooperation in line with their shared vision for development and global partnership.
