Nakirebe - Mpigi
The third edition of the workers' football tournament has officially begun in Kiringente Sub-county.
At Nsimbe Ground in Nakirebe, Tipa FC defeated Boodabooda FC with a score of 1-0, securing their victory early in the match.
Before the match even started, Boodabooda FC had already conceded defeat, as they were seen offering water to Tipa FC, a gesture symbolizing their acknowledgment of Tipa's dominance.
Meanwhile, at St. Joseph's Ground in Nakirebe, Abasiisi Chapati suffered a heavy 4-1 defeat against Bazimbi FC, leaving them with no chance to recover. Bazimbi FC confidently stated that this was just the beginning of their dominance.
Yusufu Mutyaba, the youth councilor of Kiringente Sub-county and the head organizer of the tournament, expressed his enthusiasm for the competition, highlighting its significance in fostering unity and talent.
A total of 12 teams are participating in this tournament. The winner will not only claim the championship title but will also receive a bull and other prizes, which will be awarded on Easter Sunday.
