Lyantonde Wins Mpuumudde in Lyantonde Tournament

In an effort to promote talent among the youths, Ms. Daphine Rwakiiki organized a football tournament and a race between Mpuumudde and Lyantonde, which culminated in a penalty shootout.

Lyantonde won 5-4, securing the trophy, which was handed over by Ms. Rwakiiki.

She did this as part of her efforts to empower her community and to advocate for the people of Lyantonde in Parliament.

Daphine urged the people of Lyantonde to remain vigilant as they vote in the 2026 elections, emphasizing the importance of electing someone who can effectively serve them rather than choosing representatives who only seek personal gain. Daphine Rwakiiki is a member of the Patriotic League of Uganda and also belongs to the ruling party, the National Resistance Movement. Rwakiiki not only provided the trophy but also supported women in the region to foster development.
