Busiro FC officially launched their 2025 campaign with a royal ceremony at their Sentema headquarters, presided over by Sebwana Charles Kiberu Kisiriza. The 2022 Masaza Cup champions unveiled a star-studded technical team led by head coach Denis Kiyimba, featuring ex-Uganda Cranes player Hassan Wasswa Muwanda as first assistant.
The traditional handover saw the Sebwana entrust the team with ancestral blessings, declaring their sacred duty to represent Busiro Kingdom. The complete technical staff includes goalkeeper coach Grace Bukenya and fitness trainer Richard Lukyamuzi, supported by an executive committee chaired by Richard Kijjambu.
Busiro FC has announced immediate preparations, including training camps and pre-tournament friendlies, ahead of the Masaza Cup 2025 kickoff on June 21. The ceremony marked the kingdom's full mobilisation behind their campaign to reclaim the title from defending champions Buddu.
