Pr Aloysious Bujjingo has called upon Christians, particularly those involved in ministry work, to live as exemplary individuals. Speaking during a sermon, he emphasized the importance of integrity and purpose in serving God.
Pr Bujjingo noted that many people start ministry without a clear sense of direction, often driven by personal gain or the desire to impress others, especially those abroad. He warned that such motives can lead to failure and disappointment.
He shared that there have been instances where ministers realized too late that they were not truly prepared for the challenges of their calling. Bujjingo stressed that serving God requires a deep sense of purpose and a commitment to spreading His word, rather than seeking personal recognition.
The Pr also highlighted how Satan often exploits the complexities of ministry work to mislead believers. He acknowledged that many struggle to understand the true essence of ministry service, but urged them to remain steadfast and focused on their divine calling.
Bujjingo advised those beginning their ministry journeys to start with pure intentions and a clear vision. He reminded them that even Jesus Christ did not begin His ministry on earth with grand resources, and neither did the early church.
He also addressed the youth, encouraging them to work hard and remain diligent. "No one desires a lazy person," he said, urging young people to embrace a strong work ethic and contribute meaningfully to their communities.
The service was attended by several clergy members, including Pr. Rodgers Kamya from Rehoboth Ministries International in Mbarara, who led the congregation in worship. The event, held at Canaan Land during the lunch hour service, was filled with prayers and blessings for all attendees.
Pr Bujjingo’s message resonated deeply with the congregation, reminding them of the importance of living a life of purpose, integrity, and dedication to God’s work.
