Pr. Aloysious Bujjingo Urges Believers to Deepen Faith and Pray for National Leaders During Easter Celebrations

In a powerful sermon during Good Friday and Easter services, Pr. Aloysious Bujjingo called on believers to embrace the resurrection of Jesus Christ with renewed devotion while also interceding for Uganda’s leaders. Speaking at the Lunch Hour Prayer session, he urged Christians to pray fervently for Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba and President Yoweri Museveni, acknowledging their efforts in national development and the progress yet to come.

Pr. Bujjingo reminded worshippers that God has surrounded His people with blessings, even as enemies multiply. He emphasized the need for vigilance and steadfast faith, stating, "Jesus is the only path to eternal life and true joy." His message centered on the assurance of divine protection for those who remain faithful in their walk with Christ.

During the service, Pr. Bujjingo cautioned believers against following deceptive preachers who distort God’s word. He stressed that true Christianity is not defined by personal life choices but by unwavering faith in Christ. This warning came as a call for discernment in an era where false teachings threaten to lead many astray.

The preacher also strongly discouraged gossip and slander, labeling them as acts of foolishness that breed disunity within the church. Instead, he encouraged love and reconciliation, saying, "Treating one another with kindness strengthens our bond as the body of Christ." His words served as a reminder that unity among believers reflects the transformative power of the Gospel.

Pr. Bujjingo concluded by urging believers to prioritize prayer, faithfulness, and harmony in their daily lives. He emphasized that the resurrection of Christ should inspire not only celebration but also a commitment to living out its transformative power. The Easter message thus became both a spiritual encouragement and a practical guide for Christian living in contemporary society.
