Pastor Bujjingo Urges Believers to Embrace Forgiveness Ahead of Good Friday Service

Kampala, Uganda – With the highly anticipated Good Friday service just days away, Pastor Aloysious Bujjingo of House of Prayer Ministries International (HPMI) delivered a powerful message during his weekly lunch hour service, calling on believers to release past hurts and embrace God's transformative power.

The preacher emphasized the importance of letting go of bitterness and resentment, warning that holding onto past wounds could hinder spiritual progress. "A true believer must understand that dwelling on what's behind us blocks the blessings God has prepared ahead," Bujjingo declared.

Drawing from biblical teachings, the pastor reminded congregants of Christ's ultimate sacrifice on the cross, which provided forgiveness for all humanity. "Just as Jesus bore our sins, we must extend that same forgiveness to others," he said, urging church members to reconcile broken relationships before the Good Friday service.

As preparations intensify for the April 18 event at Canaan Land, construction crews from Q-Vibes were seen putting final touches on the massive pavilion that will host thousands of worshippers. The annual Good Friday gathering has become one of Uganda's most significant religious events, known for powerful testimonies of healing and deliverance.

Bujjingo's message carried particular weight this year, as many congregants continue to face personal and economic challenges. "This Good Friday isn't just about remembering Christ's death," he explained, "but about experiencing resurrection power in every area of your life - your health, your family, your finances."

The pastor concluded with a call to action, inviting both longtime believers and first-time attendees to participate in what he promised would be a life-changing service. "Come expecting your breakthrough," he urged. "The same power that raised Christ from the dead is available to transform your situation today."
