Pastor Aloysious Bujjingo Calls for 14-Day Spiritual Fasting at HPMI

During the lunch hour service at   HPMI, Senior Pastor Aloysious Bujjingo announced a 14-day fasting period commencing on April 28th. The spiritual exercise aims to deepen believers' faith and seek divine intervention in their lives.

Pastor Bujjingo emphasised the importance of maintaining unwavering hope, reminding congregants that challenging circumstances are temporary for those grounded in faith. He urged members to focus on spiritual growth rather than worldly pursuits, stating that true rewards come from complete reliance on God.

The fasting period will follow a structured program designed to strengthen participants' spiritual walk. Pastor Bujjingo assured the congregation of God's faithfulness, declaring this season as an opportunity for divine breakthroughs and renewed purpose. He encouraged believers to approach the fast with expectation, citing biblical promises of God's provision and protection.

Addressing potential discouragement, the pastor reminded members that Christ remains a constant refuge in turbulent times. He cautioned against both despair and premature celebration of temporary victories, emphasising that ultimate victory comes through persistent faith.

The church anticipates this spiritual discipline will bring clarity, renewal, and manifestation of God's power in believers' lives. Members were charged to prepare their hearts for what Pastor Bujjingo described as "a season of supernatural visitation and transformation."

This call to fasting reflects HPMI's emphasis on practical spirituality and its belief in fasting as a catalyst for personal and communal breakthroughs. The congregation is expected to participate collectively while observing individual prayer points during the two-week period.
