Choose Hated Well Over Loved Poor

As the annual 42-day prayer and fasting season entered its third day, Pastor Aloysious Bujjingo of House of Prayer Ministries International delivered a powerful message on the nature of true relationships and divine blessing during the lunch hour service today

In a sermon that resonated with the congregation, Pastor Bujjingo challenged Christians to evaluate their personal connections, stating, “It's better to have someone talk about you negatively when you are in a good state than to have them love you only when you are in a poor state.” The message underscored the theme of authenticity and resilience in faith and personal life, especially during the spiritually intense period of fasting.

Pastor Bujjingo assured worshippers that this "powerful first week" of prayer and fasting is designed to break every chain hindering their progress. “Everything that is blocking your blessings will go,” he declared, fostering an atmosphere of faith and expectation among the attendee
Pastor Bujjingo also encouraged the congregation to prepare for the highly anticipated Vision Night, scheduled for Friday, September 26, 2025, at the Kololo Independence Grounds. He called on those who have been blessed to contribute financially to support the preparations for the large-scale event.

Emphasizing the importance of steadfast attendance, the pastor urged members not to miss any of the week's services. He specifically highlighted the Night Prayer scheduled for Friday, September 5th, and a Special Service on Saturday, September 6th, framing them as critical opportunities for spiritual breakthrough during the first week of the fast.

The 42-day period of prayer and fasting is a significant event on the calendar for many Christians, marked by deep spiritual reflection, prayer, and seeking divine intervention for the year ahead.
