Uganda and UAE Strengthen Military Ties in High-Level Meeting

The Chief of Defence Forces, Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba, today held talks with Lieutenant General Issa Saif Mohammed Al Mazrouei, Chief of Staff of the UAE Armed Forces, to enhance military cooperation between Ugandaand the United Arab Emirates.

General Kainerugaba welcomed his counterpart at Entebbe International Airport before accompanying him to the Special Forces Command (SFC) headquarters for discussions.

The meeting was attended by senior Ugandan military officials, including Lieutenant General Kayanja Muhanga, Commander of Land Forces; Lieutenant General Jack Bakasumba, Chief of Joint Staff; and Major General David Mugisha, Commander of the SFC, among other Uganda People's Defence Force (UPDF) generals and senior officers.
