The National Resistance Movement (NRM) has entered a critical phase of internal elections, with party members across various levels competing for leadership positions in the ongoing restructuring process. The eight-day exercise, which began today, will see elections for village committees up to higher party structures, including flagbearers for non-specified positions.
Party members have enthusiastically embraced the electoral process, with multiple candidates contesting for various positions. The NRM leadership views these elections as crucial for strengthening the party's grassroots structures ahead of future national polls.
